Default Construct a team to beat the Warriors in the same mold

2 Superstars (2 top 5/10 players)
2 All Stars (Someone capable of scoring 60 any given moment, DPOY swiss army knife guy)
1 'Scrub' in the starting lineup

1 6MOY capable of winning Finals MVP
Great backups at most positions

We can do current players. Let me start it off.

PG Westbrook
SG PG13
SF Andre Roberson
PF Lebron
C Capela

I was gonna add Kawhi but he's too good so we'll just go with Middleton + Delly + TT + Raptors bench. Maybe there isn't enough shooting on the team but I don't think you should try to beat the Warriors trying to outshoot them. Defense is so important against them.

You could even put in Kyrie at pg. Dude has big balls and has already beaten them before. But great choices. I have a feeling the Warriors would find a way to pick on Gobert like the Rockets did.

EDIT actually none of them are scrubs. You need 1 scrub in the starting lineup

Gobert nor Conley has ever been an all star. I feel like Iíve downgraded already.

So to beat the Warriors, you have to outstack them? Conley and Gobert would find starting spots on the Eastern All Star team

Maybe not Conley since he's always hurt.

True, chemistry is important as well. Your team smashes the Warriors, I think mine does as well. I'm sure teams with 2 superstars + 2 all stars are more than capable of beating the Warriors even in a series... just so happens the Warriors are the only team that actually stacked so much talent. Thanks KD, 3 weren't enough

All these teams would probably win, but it's also near impossible to do this without LeBron tbh, not even just saying that as a fan. If LeBron didn't exist, right now I don't think you can build a team better than GSW.

- They have two guys that are in the top three right now, both of which are team oriented.

- They have an all-time great two-way unselfish wing (who also happens to be willing to take an absurd pay cut to keep them together, sort of irrelevant for this but still).

- They have one of the most versatile players in the history of basketball who is a DPOY candidate annually.

They're also well-coached with depth and can lure ring chasers out the ass. Maybe Conley, Redick, Bron, Millsap, Gobert. I might be pushing it choosing JJ as my scrub, but you can replace him with another shooter.

It's hard to find a counterpart for Durant. Nobody in the league is that big of a pussy. Who's going to outbitch him?
