I think Jordan would win despite a slight disadvantage on the boards. Lebron's rebounding edge isn't nearly as big as some people seem to think. Jordan was a far better offensive rebounder, and was averaging 6-7 rpg on a team with more good rebounders than Lebron has had on his teams when he's been averaging 8 rpg.

To be honest, there is no need to have GOAT in this discussion.

How about 5 Birds vs 5 Lebrons? I have Birds taking it, they would outclass Lebrons just as well.

In a 1on1 situation, its different. But 5 on 5.....? For the same reason i also think 5 Pippens would win i think the Lebron team would win, there is just to much versatility on both ends... I mean those guys naturally ping pong between essentially all positions throughout their careers on both ends.... they will be having a dramatical rebounding/defensive advantage (especially interior) and they are more unselfish so i think the 5 Pippens/Lebrons would be more complementary players than 5 Jordans would aswell...

Lebron/Pippen knew how to play PG or SG or SF or PF traditionally and could defend them all....... Jordan was strictly a pure SG, he knew only that, scoring, he was the best at it.... but 5 Jordans would be 5 shooting guards fighting for who should shoot/score and heavily undersized at 3 other positions.... that wouldnt be a problem with 5 Lebrons/Pippens, they could play any role very well due to their size/athleticism combined with the skills they had... pass-first, score-first, strictly defense/rebounding focus, whatever...

more than half of this board thinks Jordan??
how freaking retarded are you feggets??
even if Jordan was better still 5 LeBrons would smash 5 Jordans all over the basketball court and then back again

Jokes aside, and they're super original guys, Lebron wins. 5 Jordans would have terrible spacing. At least Lebron can consistently hit a 23' shot. Though good lord could you imagine the defensive intensity from both "teams"? That athleticism and length... crazy.

    I don't know. But if 1 MJ beats 1 Lebron in a one-on-one, wouldn't 5 MJ beat 5 Lebrons too?

Although Lebron's the better 3 point shooter so team Lebron probably has better spacing, probably the better rebounding team too. Tough call.

this thread is so shit like every other thread with Lebron.

Lebron would win of course, mostly because he's versatile as hell.

Lebron came into the league as a point guard
Played for a few seasons as SG
    Is a SF
Has been playing PF lately and has a body of a PF.

Of course Lebron would win, he's so versatile and has the body that can go along with playing at least 4 of the 5 positions effectively.

Also, what people seem to be missing is. There will be all kinds of mismatches everywhere. Lebron could dump the ball down low and have a mismatch whenever he wants.

Yeah, he's the better long ball shooter, rebounder and passer too. Tough call.

MJ. MJ was the better individual player. The better question is who would win if it is MJ plus 4 random players and LeBron plus 4 random players.

Lebron/Pippen knew how to play PG or SG or SF or PF traditionally and could defend them all....... Good points, though.

Bird would out think and out shoot. Lebron way more athletic. That would be fun.

the 5 Brons would stand in the corner for the most part.

5 MJ's will be running all over, setting screens, cutting, driving, dishing, pump faking.

    No contest really

And like AngelFace said, all 5 LeBrons would dribble and pass the ball until the shot clock runs out without a non LeBron to bail the LeBrons out
