Seems like the investigation is not over yet. They said they are writing the final report to get the Republican monkey off their backs for 2 months until the Democrats take the House then Mueller can go in balls deep

many people are saying the special counsel's office and maga have been knee deep in a court battle over a subpoena issued to the emperor sometime in the summer.

this as they have finally turned over written answers and news of there having been an aborted face-to-face interview earlier this year.

popcorn, bruhs.

make sure you are well-stocked for the winter.

What does one thing have to do with the other? What the hell does Robert Mueller care which party controls the house?

Because the House can protect Mueller to some degree.. House has subpoena power so Trump can't completely shut down the investigation. Technically Trump could shut down investigation in DOJ, but the House has the power to bring Mueller in themselves and complete the investigation under the House's supervision. What could Trump do then? Shut down half of Congress?

Now if both houses of Congress and executive branch were GOP majority then it's a very different story..

So what are you saying? Until now, Mueller has been taking it easy but now that the Dems won the house he can go “balls deep”?

plot twist- it turns out collusion is a crime.

Quote:
Trump-Appointed Judge Hands Donald Trump Bad News In Robert Mueller Russia Case, Rules ‘Collusion’ Is A Crime

...

But if Trump and Giuliani were planning to forestall the investigation into Russian collusion led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, by arguing that “collusion its not a crime,” a federal judge appointed to the Washington, D.C., district court last year by Trump himself handed the president a major defeat last week, as Law & Crime reported.

Ruling in a case brought by Mueller against the Russian company Concord Management and Consulting, which Mueller accuses in an indictment of bankrolling and organizing a team of Russian online “trolls” who used social media disinformation and propaganda to sway the 2016 election toward Trump, Judge Dabney Friedrich ruled that merely collaborating with a foreign entity in a “conspiracy to defraud the United States” violates federal law — even if none of the acts by either party are themselves crimes, according to legal expert Randal Eliason, writing on the legal blog Sidebars.

Concord Management, a company owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a 56-year-old Russian oligarch known as “Putin’s chef,” asked Friedrich to rule on the constitutional legitimacy Mueller’s appointment, as Inquisitr has reported.

But Friedrich joined three other federal judges who previously ruled that nothing in the U.S. Constitution prohibits the hiring of a special counsel to run investigations of government wrongdoing, Politico reported. Prigozhin’s firm then argued that nothing that he is accused of is, in itself, illegal. Therefore, a conspiracy charge would be invalid.

But Friederich also rejected that argument, ruling that an agreement to perform legal actions can itself be a criminal conspiracy, if the intent of the agreement is to defraud a U.S government agency

He has been going balls deep for a year but with the House not turning Democrat until January, GOP has majority for 6 more weeks. By saying he is working on final report, it would make the GOP majority in House think the investigation is over so they don't pull any crazy stunts. Mueller is currently continuing the investigation but under the radar. We won't see any subpoenas or arrests until Democrats officially have the House. Then it's balls deep once again after few months of laying low.

Trump's going to need to vet his judges a little better if he expects them to provide him with cover.

Cover from culpability in all the cases that are out and likely pending that have the potential to affect his Presidency. We know he doesn't like the Obama judges.

Jerome Corsi tells me that Mueller has offered him a plea deal on one count of perjury, but that he's not going to take it because it would require him to sign a statement saying he knowingly and willfully lied, which he still denies. And much more. Story to come.

Important to note that if a deal has been offered and Corsi doesn’t take it, there may be a lot more indictable conduct that the deal didn’t include— Corsi told me he’s willing to go to prison “for life.” Probably wouldn’t be that long but certainly more than he’d face w/ a deal.

bad news beat him home doe.

Senate committee cancels votes on judicial nominees after Jeff Flake’s Mueller ultimatum

Jeff Flake is following through on his promise in the most Jeff Flake way.

Sen. Jeff Flake is serious about making Republicans vote on a bill to protect Robert Mueller.

Or is he?

Two weeks ago, Flake said that he would block all judicial nominees on the floor and in committee unless a bill protecting special counsel Robert Mueller received a Senate floor vote. And he proved that he was keen to follow through in a series of moves this week.

On Wednesday, Flake voted against advancing controversial nominee Thomas Farr, a North Carolina lawyer who is up for a district court spot, during a Senate floor vote. And since then, Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley canceled a committee meeting that would have included votes on more than 20 judicial nominees, apparently due to Flake’s key vote in committee.

-lyin' vox

wow.

respect for following through.
