I would say that the Natives technically did not own any land before the Colonials came over and took it from them. The boundaries of their nations were ill defined and this is to be expected from a primitive culture. It does not make sense to put the blame the Europeans who were taking over land which they supposed which was vacated. The "we had it first" argument is popularly being invoked to justify amnesty. Problem is, tribes that lived in modern Mexico never extended this far north. And in an imperialistic grab, they don't bother consulting those tribes that DID live here if they're welcome. So much for that.

Texas is really Tejas they tell us. Really? Before it was Tejas, it was Comancheria. Before it was Comancheria it was Apacheria. The Comanche dealt in slaves, including captured Mexicans. The Apache found it desirable to sell other Indians to the Spanish.

So if a more superior advanced alien race came to our planet and saw us as a primitive species that did not have a "pronounced structure of culture", and started taking over our "ill defined boundaries". That they would be perfectly justified?

The difference is when colonialist came to america there were no official boundaries, government and etc, therefore, the concept of illegals did not exist because there were no laws prohibiting people from entering the land.

Secondly the native americans are not indigenous to the area and i believe they have origins from eurasia.

Thirdly what we know as the united states of america today is primarily due to the efforts of the european colonist that migrated to the americas. Therefore, americans have every right to protect the borders and the country their ancestors help contribute to. If european colonist never went to the amrricas it would probably be some 3rd world hellhole....

Whos to say that the naturals that inhabited the Americas didnt have "official" borders or nations of tribes set up within their own laws? They did not play by the colonial laws brought over by Europe.

One could also argue that 200 years from now the US will change for the better due to all the immigrants. Americans where giving the same gripes 200 years ago about all the Italian and German immigrants of the time.
