Default Would Cleveland sign Steve Francis

Seeing that the Knicks are working on a buyout for Steve Francis and that most of the teams in the NBA have stable point guards except the Lakers and Cleveland with Eric Snow who brings defense and no offense and Damon Jones who brings offense and no defense do you think the Cavaliers would pick up Steve Francis?

Francis is my favorite player and the Cavs are my favorite team, so i'd love it because then i could go see him play whenever i wanted. Not sure if it'd work well though.

No, they don't have the cap room, and won't next year either. Thread closed.

Cavs really need a solid all-around pg if they want to cause an impact in the play-offs but Francis is definitely not the solution they need.

i would love francis in the cavs n back into a red jersey. imagine him n lebron together. finally lebron may have someone decent to play with, i mean look at the draft of 03. bosh has tj ford, carmelo has allen iverson and jr smith, wade has shaquille O'neal, alonzo mourning, antoine walker, jason williams.
who does bron have: sir inconsistant aint worth wat bought larry hughes. an ok pf who has bin improving lately, and a horrible center that puts up good stats but in games is extremely slow.
if francis comes in cavs could finnally take on the west, i mean a pg that is extremely fast, still has years left in him and cud work with bron. you will definately see a championship with the cavs.

Hold up, he's not steve francis five years ago. I think we need more of a big man then we do at point. Althought both need upgraded very badly.

IF we could get him for the veterans minimum like C-webb then sure, lets be clear here, Eric Snow is the worst starting PG in the NBA, we NEED a better PG and while I don't think Francis is a great fit he's still much better than Snow.
