And now we're stuck engrossed artificial reality to distract us from the aching inner pain of a depressed spirit.

So let's avoid all the distractions, and take a moment (or fifty) from the bottom of our hearts to thank God.

Forgive us for letting our body control our intellcts.
Forgive us for feeding our egos .
Forgive us for not respecting each others precious time on Earth.
Forgive us for skipping prayers.
Forgive us for not being just and sending money to the orphans and the needy.
Forgive us for misusing our intellect.
Forgive us for indulging in our pleasures
Forgive us for eating in excess.
Forgive us for cchasing worthless things.
Forgive us for our vices.
Forgive us for being so easily dissuaded by the Devil.
Forgive us for the false pride.
Forgive us for our irresponsibility.
Forgive us for our pride.
Forgive us for mistreating others.
Forgive us for our heedlessness.
Forgive us for using our energies to drag each other down rather than lift each other up.
Forgive us for our sins.
Astaghfierullah.


Thank you for the vision to see your beautiful creations all around us.
Thank you for allowing us life into whatever age we are.
Thank you for granting us companions.
Thank you for the sustenance you have given us.
Thank you for this incredible life.
Thank you for this incredible body you've given us.
Thank you for sound health.
Thank you for giving us the gift of life.

Thank you for the countless meals.
Thank you for giving us the chance to smile at one another.
Thank you for the fresh air we breathe.
