Maybe Rondo broke something at his house or didn't go.

God bless all these freelance non-verbal communication analysts and on court chemistry experts coming out of the wood works to weigh in. "Ray and Rondo haven't been getting along... it's been obvious for years!"

Whatever man, this is a bitch move and WILL hurt his legacy. Joining the Grizzlies/Wolves would have been fine but joining the Heat, and on top of that taking half the money Boston is willing to pay..I think he wanted to p!ss off the Celtics

1 thing for sure, his number won't be retired! F*ck of Ray

you're pulling these numbers out of your ass.

I hope Boston shows no mercy on him when they meet in the playoffs. F*ck Ray Allen.

I don't think this had anything to do with Rondo. There is a total different story, that we may never know about until Doc or Ainge decides to write a book.

Ray Allen took half the money and less security because the Heat claim he will get more minutes off the bench than he would in Boston? And Allen agreed to this because he has a dispute with Rondo? I'm not buying it.

Even the cliche " I just want to win a championship" doesn't quite make sense. Boston was without Bradley and Green and still took Miami 7 games. With those 2 coming back, plus Jason Terry and himself, another championship was a definite possibility.

I don't think anyone really knows why Allen took the deal, except Allen, Doc, Ainge and maybe Rondo. The rest of us are just speculating.

Pat still had to sell them. Wade & LeBron weren't in the meeting with Ray. Of course, who Pat has makes a big difference, but none of those guys are there without Pat. It goes both ways.

Which brings me back to my original question to you which you did not answer. Why was Miami not reeling in prize free agents in the period after the 2006 championship and before the summer of 2010?

I highly doubt it has anything to do with Rondo. That's really overblown by the media.
