How does this have any relevance to the post you just quoted, or the post it was in response to?

The Heat-Celtics (or even Lebron vs. Celtics if you want to get that far into it) rivalry is far more substantial then you are making it out to be. If you haven't noticed their series these past couple years have been war. The two teams despise each other. It's not exactly a reach to assume Pierce, Garnett and Rondo won't exactly be patting Ray on the back and wishing him good luck as he walks out the door.

Like someone else said, this not only affects the Celtics but every contending team. The fact that he joined the already most stacked team in the NBA goes to show how much he values tagging along for another ring over playin for the greatest Celtics teams (that he helped build) since the 80's, one which he already won a championship with.

Garden will boo him!

Ray to Miami was always likely to be honest. His issues with rondo had to of mattered.

The Heat are nowhere close to as stacked as people make them out to be.

I guess so.

To be frank, the situation is very confusing.

At first he seemed to be mad at Ainge for trying to trade him. But as I posted earlier, the Celtics more than made up for it with their offer. Boston had the best deal on the table by a country mile! Now over the last few weeks it has surfaced that Ray doesn't like Rondo.

But what's not to like? Its not like Rondo takes shots away from Allen? And in the Celtics leadership hierarchy, nobody would put Rondo over Allen, even though Allen is past his prime and Rondo IS more important to the team.

IMO, this looks like a trumped up smoke screen, to give Allen an excuse to take a much worse deal and leave town.

You've obviously never even set foot in Boston, let alone the Garden.

Okay, now I'm really confused. As I sit here and think... he's not going to start in Miami either. So what gives?
