Crazy how much football has changed since then.. Butkus wouldn't be as dominant today - nfl rules would muzzle the crazy son of a gun. He probably also has a severe case of CTE we will find out about after he is deceased. It's unfortunate they failed to put a good team around him to win a championship or at least contend.

while living in Wisconsin about 98% of my life , at an early age , people in Milwaukee were like the rest of the state and obsessed withe the Packers.
While playing in sand-lot ball I was always Dick Butkas or Gale Saywers.

It is one of the best fought games with these two teams.

Watching Oakland in AFC championship and Brady and the Pats getting a bad call in their favor , putting them in the SB and this year seeing the same thing with Rams as well as Pats get in - tells me that the NFL is fixed.

I am done with the NFL.
