Default Finally have some hip hop that I actually like

Jill Scott. Most talented artist out there right now IMO. I've never been into the whole poem thing, but she has surely changed my mind. One of the most sexy voices that you'll ever hear.

if you like Jill Scott you should check out Floetry. Them *****es are bad, one sings and the other raps/does poetry and it's totally organic sounding for lack of a better word. No enhancement, no background track, no lipsynching, just them, a mic, a band, and backup singers. Great music to play when kicking it with a female too. Songs like Fantasize, Say Yes, Getting Late, Opera, Lay Down, or Butterflies get the mood right in a hurry

Default Hip-Hop

Hotlanta, here's some good hip-hop that I recommend.Since you like Jill Scott mixed with hip-hop this might be right up your alley.
Deep lyrics.

Hip-hop needs artist like this. It's getting too repetitive and simplistic.
