Depends on what you're looking for...

If I'm starving and trying to prove out I'll get Mexican. Nothing like crispy, fried, deliciousness. Burritos, chalupas, soft shell tortilla tacos, rice and beans, etc. So good but also very help and likely to cause food coma.

If I'm trying to eat something substantial but also won't kill me I'll do thai (which also happens to be my favorite). Curry dishes ranging from sweet to spicy, lots of wet noodles, very light even when fried, tons of veggies.

Korean food is similar and loaded with a wide array of stir fries and delicious soups.

American chinese food is good (on the east coast) and very greasy. Great hangover food.

I really like eating Middle Eastern food when I'm eating light or pre or post work out. A falafel sandwich or chicken schwarma is very easy to digest and obviously delicious. Hummus is a great snack.

Jews make great food, From their deli cuts to brisket and kugel, can't really go wrong.

Italian and french are both delicious but not easy to find the same quality in the states as you do in Europe. Both very rich and creamy I typically don't digest this food well as much as I enjoy eating it.

Been eating a lot of empinadas lately (pretty sure they are native to south america). Quite delicious and simple. Surprised they aren't more popular in the states.
