Default The 3 Picks & deals

I have to say I really like the Crittendon pick. I was high on him when people were first posting mocks. I think he will be a very good player for the Lakers.

I am not as happy with the Yue pick. I hope he moves to the SF spot, but I am not all that happy with it. I would rather the Lakers take Gasol there and the SF (that can shoot) from Syracuse at 48.

I really like the Gasol pick here. It may have been a steal at this point in the draft. If he can play anything like his brother in Memphis, we should be happy Lakers fans.

NOW the FO needs to pull off a deal (JO) to get the team some frontline help and a 2nd scorer. I have to say that I am NOT a KUP-check fan (AT ALL) but I cann't put the KG deal (or non-deal) on him. Minnesota turned down the Lakers offer, BUT if he doesn't pull the trigger on a O'Neal deal...THERE IS NOONE TO BLAME!!

I think the 1st round Crittendon pick might have had an extra motive in there. Sure he is a good player, a big PG that would fit well in the triangle offense. Also could push Farmar for minutes and improve both their games. BUT It could also have been made because Indiana was hoping to get a PG in the middle of the round, had we pulled off the JO trade. Crittendon/Lo/Bynum/filler for JO/Granger or something like that :)

Well through out the talks with Indiana it was known that Indiana was worried about drafting a PG at #19. Since we got the #3 PG in the draft, i think he will be included in trade talks with Indy. LO/Bynum might be too much for JO, but if we can get Granger...then pull the TRIGGER!!!

This indy package has all along been the only realistic trade that we could make to improve the Lakers and now since we picked Crittenton who looks to be a good defensive PG was a pick for the Pacers. Now this could broaden the Lakers/Pacer's trade package where if Granger's sent to the Laker's for Javaris Crittenton then it could get more complicated coz then we might have to take one of Ind'ys bad contract (probably Tinsley or Foster) and then we'll still have to throw in a filler & possibly another pick to make it work for Tinsley bad contract.

If Grager is inside of the deal, then it would sound nice... but in this deal your proposing.. I still think the lakers give up too much...

Lo and Bynum is not as low as some people ponder.. Crittendon.. im not sure about
