The police has confirmed the attacker was a 21-year-old Syrian refugee but have not released his name. The motive for the attack is unclear.

Under nascent police states people are slowly conditioned into being treated like de facto criminals--the assumption is one of guilt rather than innocence, and stringent gun laws are a reflection of this (labels all citizens as potential criminals).

Some more Euro terrorism: Apparently there is a hostage situation currently in Normandy, France. Two people with knives have circa 4 people captive in a church. Reports of shots fired.
