The writing was weird and that voice was tough to get past in the first couple watches...but the character itself was pretty well executed. He was menacing, uncompromising, supremely dangerous, a total zealot with regard to his beliefs and didn't shirk from violence for even a moment in pursuit of his goals. Pretty nasty villain. honestly i used to shit on DC but after watching Flashpoint Paradox and Justice League War i take it back...its great watching them getting heads chopped off and head shots, DC really needs to go R rated hardcore superhero movies to find their niche vs Marvel.

if this was just about Ledger's Oscar then you shouldn't have listed those others...DC have some compelling stories that attract not only the best actors of each era but Oscar nominees and winners.

not sure why some of you insist on doing this DC vs Marvel shit like it's crips and bloods and you have to choose a side
being biased toward either one will only hurt you in the long run...
I just watch these things for what they are...some DC movies are good, some suck...some Marvel movies are good some suck
