    Default Why was Ariza crying?

Blake got 3 hard fouls tonight and that cheapshot last week and it's considered okay. Yet Blake delivers a hard foul to knock him on his ass like a ragdoll and Ariza acts like he wants to fight? Typical double standard for bigmen in the NBA. I feel bad for the first person Griffin decides to give a flagrant 2.

Don't understand the point of the thread. It was a cheap shot from Griffin. What was Ariza was supposed to do, say "I know people do it to you all the time, so we're cool"?

He got mad and I would have gotten mad too. It was a cheap shot. Griffin should have saved it for the next time he played Smith. Cheap is cheap and Blake isn't exactly the cleanest player.

Like I said... Double standards. Shaq used to get beat up so much and once in a while gave a very hard foul and players cried too. If you're going to beat up a bigman you better be prepared to get hit hard.

Haha... A cheap shot? Please dude. Clean hard foul and flagrant 1 accordingly.

I wish I knew what you meant. Too complex for me.
If you're dismissing my post, can you explain why?

Flagrants aren't clean. He didn't play the ball. I'm not gonna crucify him for it, it happens. But Ariza isn't the one laying the cheap shots on him. Hit the guys hitting you.

And the Shaq thing is completely wrong. Shaq hit everybody on every play. Shaq never got beat up. He was a walking offensive foul.

Griffin does take some unfair hits, but then he should lay them back out on the right players. And like I said, Griffin isn't the cleanest of players and is a bit of a prick on the court.

Taking contact without flailing wildly and falling to the floor? That's not safe.

But you know what is safe? The 2012 Kia Optima. It's got a 5-star crash safety rating.

You don't see the subtle things players do to Griffin like punching him in the nuts, grabbing his throat etc. That's not even accounting for all the flagrants he gets. In comparison to what he receives it was a mild foul. I wish he hit people every game like that to send a message that he's not going to put up with shit.

You honestly expect him to target a specific player when an entire team philosophy on D is to pack paint and give Griffin hard fouls all game? F that. Griffin needs to do this way more often.
