Default Washington post columnist *possibly* tortured & murdered by Saudis

Quote:
The Turkish government has told U.S. officials that it has audio and video recordings that prove Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul this month, according to U.S. and Turkish officials.

The recordings show that a Saudi security team detained Khashoggi in the consulate after he walked in Oct. 2 to obtain an official document before his upcoming wedding, then killed him and dismembered his body, the officials said.

Interrogated and killed by 15 saudis. One of Usama Bin Laden's acquaintances in the mid 90s.

Nothing will come of this, if more than a dozen Saudis were behind the killing of 3,000 Americans and we did absolutely nothing, then this is a walk in the park.

We need that Saudi oil too much to ruffle feathers over dead Americans

Exactly. So much proof that Saudis were behind the 9/11 attacks yet nothing has been done.

Also find it hilarious that so much money, manpower & time were spent on finding Bin Laden. After years of searching for him they finally "killed" him & dumped his body out to sea. Really??

Americans really are sheep that believe everything their media tells em.

The Turks say they have video and audio of the murder and Cornyn has gone on record as saying that he has seen intelligence implicating the Saudis. I'm not surprised by the tepid, disinterested response coming from the White House. It seems that, in spite of all the reports, Trump wasn't even aware that the journalist was a green card holder. We should start the countdown to the "our role isn't to police the world" excuses we are sure to hear as we ignore this incident and continue our close relationship with the Saudis in seeking to sell them military weapons.

*continue to scam/extort the Saudis. The export versions provided to the KSA are of inferior quality. I can totally see Trump closing his eyes over the killings. The saudis just need to cough up $$$.

This is truly dramatic, if true. The murder of Jamal Khashoggi was allegedly recorded on his Apple watch and transmitted outside.

Exactly. The US works for the Saudis. They are more powerful than most people realize.

They fly planes into the World Trade Center.....How did we respond?....By starting a war with the Saudis' most threatening local rival: Iraq.

Next thing we will do for the Saudis (and Israelis) will be to start a war with Iran. Book it. That's why we have troops positioned in Afghanistan.

Not only did the Saudis fund and execute the 9/11 attacks, they have funded Al Qaeda and, more recently ISIS.

Being allies with Saudi Arabia is a black mark to America. I don't mind maintaining diplomacy with them, but I don't want to be allies with them.. I would not want to be allies with any non-Democratic nation.

So apparently the columnist was wearing his Apple watch when he entered the embassy. His fiancee was waiting outside with his iPhone that the watch was paired to. The watch recorded his interrogation, torture, and murder and uploaded it to the phone which the fiancee turned over to the Turks who retrieved the recordings.

Dude solved his own murder.

When asked about the unfolding story Trump's reaction so far has been

The US itself is non-democratic. The level of denial...
