Maybe, but if you look at the big-time recruits we got last year- Rejus, McCray, Martez, Brent- there were strong indications that they were picking Illinois before they announced it.

All the smoke is pointing toward OSU's way on this one.

I just watched the videos that Game put up. It's really hard to gauge anything from those videos. I just realized how hard scouting at the high school level is. Yeah they still have two years of high school left to get to the level of a Sherron Collins, Derrick Rose, who have you...but it's just incredible how Bruce can assess the talent so well and be sure they'll turn out great.

I mean, I have no credentials as a scout at all...but damn, from those videos, I couldn't separate them from the best guys at the park. Kudos to Bruce. I would love to see Simpson though.

Keep in mind those are also all old videos, I believe.

I know the Richardson video is from summer of '06 and I'm pretty sure the Paul video is, too. Richardson's gotten better since then, and Paul's gotten way better. The Bertrand video is from last high school season, I believe, and he's grown to around 6'5" since then. He's 6'3"ish in that video.
