And comparing the toughness of people in different era's isnt really fair. Every era gets a little softer than the next thats just the way the world is heading. If bron came up playing in the 80's and 90's hed be tougher because hed have to be. On the flip side if mj came up in this era om sure hed be a bit softer than he was.

Agreed to an extent. Modern players on average have had better upbringings than those in the 80s and that has an effect on "toughness". That being said I don't draw a connection to a player complaining to refs/flopping and being soft. MJ complained a ton to the refs. Bill Laimbeer flopped. Were either of them labelled soft for it? Gamesmanship has NOTHING to do with softness. This is just some idiotic fan created theory.
