    Aren't you allowed to hit the shooters hand while blocking a shot? I'm pretty sure you are allowed incidental contact with the shooters hand so long as you get the ball, or at least used to be, when blocking a players shot

    Yes but this also gets misinterpreted (btw If we're talking about Duncan's block on Harden, it was clean/good, hit the ball first, that's when the block was made).
