It's obviously up there (whole season), but the Finals was not one of the greatest, depending on what you view as the "greatest".
first of all, where did i claim that lebron had "one of the five greatest finals performance"? your irrational haste to discredit lebron clouds your thinking.

Duncan had a 20-20 near quadruple double in a championship clinching game

None of the numbers back up that claim. And one of your jacked up posts do, either.

Also, who cares about it being a signature performance? Duncan has had better series than LeBron's against Boston.
The thread is about overall SEASON, not just Finals.
Duncan never had a complete season of dominance like Lebron had in 2012.

And if you read my post, you'd see that I agreed.

The OP mentioned LeBron having one of the all-time great Finals. It's not in the top 5, arguably not even top 10, therefore it isn't. That's all I was addressing.

Bran stans and their reading comprehension.

Also, a lot of people put Duncan's 03 season over LeBron's 2012 season.

You basically called it the best season ever, Playoffs/Finals included - by all objective measures apparently.

I treated the Finals as such. It's not top 5 by any objective measure, so it's not one of the all-time great Finals, in relation to your original post.

Your post should read as follows:

"GOAT regular season/Playoffs up until the Finals. Barely a top 10 effort when he got there."

all included in being one of the best seasons of all time. that doesn't mean he had THE greatest finals ever.

    big difference.

I treated the Finals as such.
well don't. because nobody is arguing whether his finals is top 5 or not.

once again, discuss the topic at hand or kindly see yourself out. dunce.

"has one the greatest playoff/finals ever by all objective measures and data"

There have been, what, 30 Finals where a top 30 player won in his prime - if that? LeBron being in the top 33% goes against the idea that his Finals, the only thing I'm even talking about, is one of the greatest.

Not saying anything about the whole season. It is certainly up there. I'm just making sure you don't misinform the ISH public. I'm surprised you're not thanking me.

but, lebron did have one of the greatest playoff and finals runs of all time.

his actual playoff run (30/10/6), which includes the finals, is quite clearly top 10.

what you're arguing is semantics. by all means, though, keep making a fool of yourself.

No, he had one of the greatest Playoff runs ever. His Finals didn't compare to it.

And since you think it does, as that's what you wrote ("has one of the greatest finals ever by all measurable data"), could you share these data sources?

Oh, and your post is wrong. His 30/10/6 Playoff run is top 5.

Its funny how duncan whooping lebrons ass in the finals has led his legion of stans to decalre war on him. Duncan hasnt garnered an ounce of disrespect before he faced lebron and beat him.

his finals are arguably top 10 according to you. that IS one of the greatest ever.

simply breaking it down and comparing it to the other top 30 players of all time (33%) and 30 finals they made is silly. there have been thousands of nba players since the league was created. when we create all time lists, we compare said players to not just their peers and guys with similar numbers, but all players from previous eras.

Oh, and you're post is wrong. His 30/10/6 Playoff run is top 5.
you misspelled your. please correct that, ok?
