I'm not sure what your point is here. Are you saying that I was arguing against the 10-day growth? Because I wasn't, I was in favor of the 10 day growth over clean shaven or the full beard.

right, but that image is from the study that evaluated women's preferences. That heavy stubble level depicted is about what I rock. So, that is the look (basically a tight and trimmed beard) that women found the most attractive.

i think about 90% of women don't really want guys to have beards. at least that's the reaction i get. the other 10%? they don't really like it neither but they just accept it.

most guys grow a beard because they're just lazy or slobs (like that Hangover retard guy). but having a beard is sort of a statement too. it's like having mustaches. it just tells everyone "hey, look at me, i'm a man and i look like this. and i don't give a fuuk" but maybe you do give a *** and intentionally want to look like the younger version of santa claus because that's your off-the-corporate, off-the-grid, anti-establishment, rebellion look or whatever...

I think you need to hang around actual adults. Not all beards are sloppy or long. You can have a very trim and professional looking beard as well.

In the grand scheme of things I fully believe that just being attractive period is most important to women...If you're ugly then you're ugly, if you're good looking then you're good looking...facial hair probably won't be a deal breaker to most women unless it's ZZ Top type shit...

I just think that if they had a choice most would prefer to kiss a hairless face...

Pretty sure that this is the actual peer-reviewed article that all of the media reports (or studies if you will) are based on.

And, yes, I do think underlying attractiveness plays a big role. If you are handsome, you will be with or without a beard and same with the uglies.

I can grow pretty slick beard but only do it during the winter months. During the spring/summer time, I trim down my facial hair.
