essemtially, I'd go with option 2. Tmac and Battier are pretty much interchangable, so it doesn't much matter who is listed where. Battier will gaurd the best wing player on the other team, and Tmac will supply offense against anyone.

I'm hoping they're trying to groom Luther into being able to play point, and he can be kinda like Kenny Smith was...only average 4 or 5 assists, but give the ball to the right people at the right time, and hit 3's. Snyder could turn into a good player, but no one knows with him right now. Battier is not a PF, although he could see some limited minutes there against some teams.

option number 1

i think snyder will be a good fit in houston

its pretty much him and luther fighting for the starting spot, but i think luther could be a force from the bench

option 2 for now. If Snyder improves his shot, which he will, he would be suited in the starting lineup. I dont see Battier fitting as a 4 right now. I think option 2 is good because Howard brings his rebounding and low post moves to the table. The Rockets will need to a get a 4

it's gonna be rough for the Rockets this season... line-up 2 would be the favs with Mac & Battier changing spots... but the bench is not deep enough...
