Default San Antonio Spurs (43-16) @ Los Angeles Lakers (39-22) Game Thread

Big game tonight

Question is does pop rest any of the big 3 tonight? They barely played at all last night. Will he start play Duncan or Manu? Or will he rest them and just play them the next night in Sacramento? Be interesting. More so when you factor in how badly LA embarrassed the spurs last week on their homecourt.

I'm excited for this game. One of the last few marquee Laker matchups before we transition to the playoffs. I expect the Spurs to go all out tonight to regain their manhood after the last beatdown we gave 'em. I expect nothing less; I will be surprised if they don't bring their A game. I hope Lakers are prepared for this one.

Go Lakers!!

Not that bad IMO, I didn't get all wound up by our success without Kobe........if anyone should be worried it's the Spurs, we beat them in SA without Kobe, last nights game is what you would've expected in SA......they have shown their weaknesses.

Interesting how bad their D is without Kobe.

But DKlaker you are right, with Kobe they should give them a good fight in the POs (if they meet).

Well Last game we won in SA, it was Bynum's 30 board game, and MWP's ridiculous performance that helped us nab the win. Our players just reverted back to normal this game.

A veteran team like San Antonio would never dare to show up to Staples Center unprepared as they did last week. There was clearly some revenge. Can honestly call it pay back. Even if Kobe had played, I doubt that this would have changed the W-L column.
