Holy ****, losing to low majors/d.ii schools, Drew Gordon off team? What the **** happened? i haven't been following college basketball to closely so far, how can a team with such a well financed program, good coach, and talented players be this bad?

Some will say the team isn't talented, but I'm just going to say that they are way too young and have no one on offense that can really take over. Roll is a solid shooter, but just a spot up kind of guy. Honeycutt will probably make a huge impact right away.

Was at the Arizona game at Pauley today... the UCLA team looks like a mess this year. It was pretty bad... in one fast break they had an open lane but passed it to someone else, who passed it again onto another player's foot causing a turnover... kind of sad.

UCLA is 16-7 on the year, and 7-3 in the Pac-10 (2nd place) despite having a 4-game skid early on the in the year (though the game against Kansas was crap) and handed Brigham Young University their first loss of the year. Besides BYU, the Bruins haven't had an impressive non-conference resume with the only key win being against BYU, but a bad loss against Montana negates that and then some. In conference play, UCLA handed Wazzou their 2nd loss of the season, two days after they defeated, at the time, #15 Baylor and had only lost to #5, at the time, Kansas State before that.

Reeves Nelson is averaging a solid 14/8 on 58.4% shooting and has had 5 20/10+ games.
Tyler Honeycutt with a good 13/8/3 and big Joshua Smith getting a nice 10.6/6.5 in 20 minutes. Should get back in the big dance this year.
