Polanski's a notch above "pretty good". If you don't want to call him great, you have to at least call him "very damn good".
He's pretty good in comparison to Woody Allen

    Woody Allen is a creep.

Who marries their daughter (adopted or not) who they raised?

I wonder how much of a hand he had in raising her though. He works tirelessly on project after project, so I'm curious about the time spent.

Would it be more acceptable to marry her if he spent less time with his daughter?

    It's closer than that.

Polanski is a superior visual artist/overall filmmaker and makes more complex plots. Allen specializes in insanely clever comedic dialogue and quirky situations that his fantastically casted actors give life to.

Actually it would if they never developed any sort of father/daughter bond.

Interesting. Very unique circumstances most certainly.

None-the-less Woody is a creep and a scumball for leaving his wife for his daughter.

Definitely an awkward transition and weird concept in general, but I have no knowledge of the nature of their interaction or how much time they spent together so it's hard for me to judge.

Allen is a better visual director as well, you probably just don't give him credit due to his reputation as a comedian, which Lena Dunham is helping to drag through the dirt now by constantly comparing herself to him.

Just look at Manhattan, Love and Death or Crimes and Misdemeanors, nothing Polanski shot is close to those movies.

I don't know how many Woody Allen movies you have seen, but it seems like not very many, you are only repeating the untrue stereotypes.

This is like a comparison of Jeff Hornacek to Michael Jordan.

Polanski is Hornacek, Allen is Jordan.

Saying The "n" world is the most benign thing Paula Deen admitted to on the stand. If it was just the "n" word and if her ratings weren't dipping she would've survived the whole ordeal. Things like enabling her brother's romps with underage girls in her employ, enabling her brother's blatant viewing of porn while on the clock, paying Black workers much less and making them enter through designated "negro" doors is what did her in.

In today's day and age you can apologize your way out of a decades old slip of the tongue. The other stuff from a sponsor standpoint are unforgivable sins. She's lucky the media was lazy and pushed the "n" word angle instead of the racist/sexist/statutory rape-filled workplace angle. People who love her will cling to the "n" word angle and think people are too sensitive and the rappers say it and she'll rise like a phoenix.

Mel is rejected because he's not a draw anymore. If he were still a draw his hatred of Jews and wishing that his ex get raped by a "pack of n**gers" would've been forgiven.

Nothing to do with him not being a draw. Apocalypto and Get the Gringo were both critical and commercial successes. The guy is the undisputed #2 Actor/Director of all time (Clint is #1).

Who you got Prof? Azzlick? Kevin Smith? Gus Van Sant was in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, so he might qualify?
