A simple question in an attempt to derail the thread, but yeah...

You seemed to be pretty upset. Maybe I took it the wrong way.

Like I said, I don't agree with a lot of what happens (like the fact that Walter Scott's murderer only received a ~20 year prison sentence), but I was only telling you why things went down the way that they did. I could be wrong (haven't yet, but there's always that chance), but I'm just telling you like it is.

I bet you a grand that if it was a bench trial, the cop would've been convicted.

Hope the family at least gets a **** ton of money out of this horrible event and that piece of shit cop rots for the rest of his miserable like.

If the cop wanted to kill the dude, why didn't he pull the trigger the first time the dude gave him reason to do so?

Im no law expert but i think the proper sentence for this cop should be to get him on his knees and ask him to crawl in front of the jury with his legs crossed and arms in the air and have someone stand behind him with a riffle ready to empty his clip on him.

F*ck this p*ssy ass cop and anybody in this thread that somewhat justify his actions. He is clearly mentally unstable and was blood thirsty

https://www.officer.com/tactical/fir...ot-in-the-head

Officials said that 79-year-old Oscar Kays became combative and pulled out a handgun and shot Evans in the head. The trooper was able to return fire at Kays as he fled the scene.

He's just an old man!

yup... we need to bring back the old Hammurabi Code and give this guy a true eye for an eye. If cops were properly punished for stuff like this, wed see less of it. Right now they know they have a license to kill.

One of the few times I'll ever agree with you, I guess.

Who knows? These are pressure situations even for the sadistic. His finger was probably itching badly that he didn't pull. Hoped he would get another chance to capitalize.

Don't make pos excuses.
