Default Fire Coach Hill? gns

They're already lining up the firing squad for Bob Hill in Seattle. The Sonics can't win at home, his lineup changes are making everybody grumpy, he has alienated half his bench, and Lenny Wilkens has just been hired as a vice chairman by the new owners -- which essentially sets him up as coach-in-waiting. Management's antenna went up last week, when Hill blasted his bench after a 20-point loss to the Spurs, which SF Damien Wilkins and PG Earl Watson took personally. Wilkins, Watson and Hill traded barbs for two days, after which Hill admitted he overreacted. . . .

Lenny wilkens aint so hot either.

1,000 wins sound good but 1,000 losses evens it out.

these are similiar issues that hill had brought with him to his previous coaching stints...

perhaps there was another reason that lenny was brought in-- he is a HOFer coach. but he is 69 years old too and said he is through coaching and GMing...

these problems arent anything a couple of wins wouldnt silence. the team is still trying to become stable-- a coaching change would gut the season for us no matter who takes the helm.

i say, let hill ride it out

if watson continues to chirp, cut a deal with miami and bring gp back to help out and retire in seattle!!
