Default Talk about Carmelo Anthony's world championship performances

Seeing him do stuff you aren't used to seeing him do on the nuggets?

I've really enjoyed watching him play the way he has, he looks like hes really bridging that gap between himself and bron/wade.

There was a real nice crossover/spin move where he made a layup in the Slovenia match that made me think he's really made some great progress, it was just a really nice fluid but tough move to pull off.

The fact he's a co-captain means he's really impresssed off the court too which is great to hear, especially since George Karl has made it clear Melo will be denver captain this year.. its just nice to see he is being acknowledged by those away from the denver franchise too.

i applaud carmelo and his efforts. He looks like hes really pushing to become something special.

P.S. His new hairstyle is fresh as well

Agreed, and his new hairstyle has to be due to him not having his hairstylist in Asia. Otherwise, WTF?

He's been the best player on the team so far.

IMO, there are several reasons that Melo is doing so well in the WCOB. First, he's surrounded by good players who can shoot the ball and play good defense. Second, he has PGs who aren't reluctant to pass the ball, rather than dribble it until time has run out. If Miller and Boykins played PG like Hinrich and Paul, Melo would be super awesome with the Nuggets. Coach Karl should lay down the law to his PGs to distribute the ball better than they did the pass two years. I believe that the Nuggets are one consistent SG away from being a serious contender for the NBA championship.

Too True.

His confidence is through the roof, and thats a quality that the legends all possessed.
