Karma bit him in the ass at the very end. I won't miss him.

I'll miss his fights but not his character. Too arrogant.

he's the greatest counter-striker in MMA history and in the top five GOAT discussion.

he clowned people, chumped people and humiliated people, but he was unable to impose his will the way a royce, fedor or GSP could (and in the future, jones and velasquez, likely). his level of competition was not equal to most of those others and his trilogy against cote, leites and maia made him look especially ridiculous, unfortunately.

but he was a wizard, a fascinating watch, and a credit to brasil and to MMA. he was also a pretty high-spirited but decent guy IMO. his ring arrogance did not take away from his humility and goodwill once the fight ended.

While I do think he went overboard with it, I think Silva's "arrogance and mocking" in the first Weidman fight was a legit strategy on his part. I don't think it was him being a dick. Although the Maia fight (I think?) years ago wasn't his best moment.

He knew he wanted no part of Weidman on the ground. Silva's best chance was to keep it standing and he was hoping to goad Weidman into that. It just clearly didn't work. In the 2nd fight you could see what happened when they did go to the ground. It was all Weidman.

"Karma"? No, more like Father Time catching up to him.

Karma biting him would have been this happening to him in his prime. Unless Karma is a scared little b*tch that takes the little pu$$y route.
