There is no football version of Michael, Magic or Bird. We would have to use the likes of Bradshaw, Aikman, and Brady and id say all would insult them in some way. Brady may have some Bird in him. But Bird had more to do with his teams winning than Brady did early 2000s.

Which I guess makes it sound like Brady is Kobe. Brady did have his best years while not winning same as Kobe. Maybe something there.

Wanted to give Jordan Joe Montana....but Joe had Jerry Rice. Jordan never had a better or even equal player on his teams.

Basketball player comparisons to football players doesn't seem right to me, since the football players always play offense only. I get the career/legacy matching.

I'd make a comparison to hockey players, if anybody knows on here has indepth knowledge about the NHL. I'm assuming Wayne Gretzky = Michael Jordan would be the most obvious match.

I can kind of see the Kobe/Favre comparison. Both of them have legions of nonsensical and obsessive detractors, both of them were the most exciting and electrifying players of their time, and they were both the toughest and most durable players in their respective sports.

Kobe/Brady comparison also makes sense.

I don't know about Favre, but Kobe also has legions of nonsensical and obsessive fans.
