Default Todays game.

Wallace had a pretty insane game, while Okafor, Richardson, and Morrison logged decent minutes as well. We still lost to Atlanta again, but I think were playing better as an overall unit.

Richardson hasnt showed the flash and scoring that I thought he would when we signed him thus far. Hope he begins to rip it up during the regular season.

I think you can rationalize away JRich's 1st half...he was obviously rusty from the time off. In the 2nd he was (I haven't figured this up, but a guess) around 8 for 12.

Felton sounded great.

Mek obviously had an off rebounding game (2 rebounds...wonder when the last time that happened?) but he also had 4 blocks...making me think he was getting no help. Sounds like he was going after the man with the ball, making him miss and then no other stood up to help on Mek's guy (Horford).

Crash...all star.

Coach V played some small ball this game, first time this preseason I think...maybe in an attempt to slow down their wings as our 2 young bigs were basically worthless.

I listened to it...overall a very fun game for the most part. We kept it close after falling back early.

What starting lineup do you guys expect for the beginning of the season? I'm thinking about picking up Herrman for fantasy, but he doesn't seem to get the expected burn at the moment.

Projected starting lineup (to the general disappointment):
PG: Felton
SG: Richardson
SF: Wallace
PF: Okafor
C: Brezec/Hollins

2nd string:

PG: McInnis
SG: Carroll
SF: Morrison
PF: Herrmann/Davidson
C: Hollins/Brezec

What would you rather see? Okafor at 5 and what else?

Felton/JRich/Wallace/Herrmann/Okafor.

If you wanted to run and gun then you'd think sticking a big guy at PF who can shoot and stretch the floor would make sense. Hopefully its just one of those start the big guy but bring the talent off the bench for most of the minutes

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed but while we keep sayin' Herrmann is going to start, he has barely seen any minutes in the pre-season. Davidson has out performed him and I think gotten more minutes. I don't think V likes him or his style or whatever. But ya, definitely don't think he'll be starting.

I asked a member of the staff about Vincent and Herrmann. I was told that the problem is that we no longer have a translator and Herrmann must learn a new system. I was reminded that it took him half the season to learn Bernie's system.

I'd hate to think the lack of a translater is the culprit for letting his newfound value plummet to nothing. That would be above sad.

I agree. They were trying to cover for Vincent(just my opinion). I think that the staff has received many calls about Walter. I was assured that he would be OK.

Who does one contact if one has a question, opinion or gripe?
