Hey guys, I was flying high almost catching first place, 1 game back, and I was going to play him. I guess my team decided to start sucking then, and now I am six games back, in fourth place, and losing 7-2 so far to the guy in 6th place. I need to know what you guys would suggest. I have 3 injuries and the FA list is pretty slim. Here is the damage.
PG Devin Harris (Dal - PG) INJ
SG Jason Richardson (Cha - SG,SF)
G Ricky Davis (Mia - SG,SF)
SF Ron Artest (Sac - SF,PF)
PF Al Jefferson (Min - PF,C)
F Udonis Haslem (Mia - PF) INJ
C Emeka Okafor (Cha - PF,C)
C Yao Ming (Hou - C)
Util Mike Bibby (Sac - PG)
Util Baron Davis (GS - PG)
BN Mo Williams (Mil - PG)
BN Vince Carter (NJ - SG,SF)
BN Andrew Bynum (LAL - C) INJ
Here are some of the top FAs: Salmons, Garcia, Kurt Thomas, Kleiza, Jason Williams, Anthony Carter, Wally world, Outlaw
Ricky Davis looks like your most droppable player, he did play great last game, but Wade was missing. I don't know Bynum's current situation, but he was dropped in many leagues, I'd still search up his injury before dropping him though.
They're not too valuable now, but if the King's trade Artest, then pick up Salmons, if not Garcia. From that list, Wally and Travis look like decent pick-ups. Wally's good for 15 with a couple threes a night, while Outlaw's a double digit scorer with nice boards/blocks/steals.
I actually picked Bynum up. Hes out for 8 weeks. I had a totally healthy team at the time and had Garcia for when Artest was out. Artest was back and he seemed like a good thing to replace Garcia. I agree that Ricky Davis is probably someone to drop, but I really haven't been a fan of Wally, as he is just as streaky as Davis.
I think Ricky Davis' value just rose with the news that Wade may be shutting down his season soon. If Wade's on the court, Ricky's value plummets, but if Ricky is starting with Wade/Shaq out, then he could be a 18/5/4 guy. If you're very eager to make a move, then go with either Outlaw/Wally, but I'd wait until more news on Wade is available.
I've seen the news of Wade shutting down his season on many articles/sites. I'm not sure if they're accurate, but you got to wonder if it's true considering the way the Heat and Wade in particular have been playing this season, along with Wade's injury history.
