Default The Red Ring of Death - Ohhhh Sheeet!

Had my 360 for 7 months now and last night I tried putting a movie in the DVD holder and whamo! Got the red light.

It was so frustrating because I take really good care of my things and didn't think it would happen.

So I got online and looked for a solution to the problem and one forum said you just need to unplug your console and plug it back in and it will be fixed. I did this and it did work. Thank God.

Does anyone know if this will happen again since it already happened to me once?

You have 3 year warranty on RROD, if it happens again just send it in.

It will most likley reoccur. Happened to me before in the past. Like guy above said, if it happens again, ship it in. Microsoft is BS with this. I'm almost scared to turn mine on, since 2K9 is about to come out. With my luck, it'll RR a week before the release(like last year) You may be OK, though. But, if I had to bet, it'll proably reocurr once again. Cross your fingers.

It'll probably reoccur, unless your plug was half way out of the socket or something.

Which version of the 360 do you own?

Welcome to the Two Timers Club.

And believe me, it'll probably happen again. And again.
