What the **** is wrong with you? They didn't allow foreign or "naturalized" players to play in Greece until the 1990s.............

Greece's national teams have a law they have to abide by that no "naturalized" citizens can ever play on them. Mike Batiste wanted to play for Greece but he was never allowed to because he is not Greek. He even was eligible for Greek citizenship and would NOT have been allowed on the national team. You have to have Greek citizenship at birth, and have Greek descendant blood, or you cannot play on the national team.

Just because Team USA allows naturalized players does not mean every other country does. Teams like Greece, China, Lithuania NEVER allowed any naturalized players.

    Stop being a ****ing moron.

Bobby Brown just put on a clutch clinic and destroyed Spanoulis on V-Span's home floor to grab a huge road win for his team.

Brown had 22 points and 5 huge ones in the last few seconds of the game to pull off an insane comeback.

    Brown - 22 points/6 assists/3 steals/3 turnovers
    Spanoulis - 13 points/5 assists/0 steals/4 turnovers

Woj had an article recently saying that Brown could be available to NBA teams this season because Siena is struggling financially. Anyone need a high scoring combo guard off the bench?

Spanoulis was bad but he played great in the end of the game , reason they lost is Acie Law , it's funny how comentator was saying Law is known to be a clutch player before he missed that open lay up .

Anway game should have gone to OT but refs didn't noticed that clock stoped and thats why Brown was able to score of a fastbreak .

And what's up with giving Brown 3 fts , yes it was a foul but you need to call it when it happeneds and not 5 seconds after .

Siena now has good chances to reach top 8 but if they go against CSKA in top 8 they will lose even if Brown scores 50 points every game so they need to continue working .

And the best news is at 1-3 looks like Spanoulis and Olympiacos won't be even making the quarter-finals which means no Euroleague MVP and not even an all-Euroleague team for Spanoulis!

So he has not "lived in America his entire life".

He was also not "naturalized" you ****ing moron. Greek law did not even allow naturalization until the 1990s. You ****ing idiot. Greece has NEVER allowed any naturalized people to play for their national teams.

Galis was born in New Jersey. Played High School ball in New Jersey, and played College ball for Seton Hall. He was drafted by the Celtics, then released after he suffered an injury. He then decided to spend the rest of his career hiding in Greece, despite being offered contracts by multiple NBA teams. I guess he enjoyed being a big fish in a small pond, which is understandable.

Galis was not a naturalized Greek. Naturalized Greeks could not even play in Greek League until after Galis retired.

Galis was a Greek citizen at birth. He wasn't naturalized. To this day there has never been a naturalized player on Greece's national teams. They don't allow it.
