For Steph to have success he'd be a wing like Reggie Miller. I don't think he'd come close to the 11+ 3PA per game, probably 6-7 like the other high volume 3PT shooters of the era.
Random scrub George McCloud shattered the record for attempts in 96 with 678, that's on par with the numbers that the best shooters are putting up now, and point guards with half the talent like Mookie Blaylock and Mark Price didn't seem to have a problem getting shots off from deep/
Peak Curry = 402 made on .454 from 23'9", 5.1 3pm on 11.2 attempts
The shortened line was 22", that's nearly 2 feet closer, so let's estimate that equals two more makes per game (79 games)
79 * 2 + 402 = 560
Accounting for potential game breaking flurries I calculate more than 600, but for math sake we will keep it at 600, which is 198 more makes at prime level.
198 * 3 + total points scored (2375) / 79 games = 37.5ppg
Steph would basically look like Michael Jordan at his best with a shortened line, not Mahmoud Abdul fvcking Rauf
