Thumbs up Trojans will challenge and pass the bruins

The opening of the new GALEN center and the great recruiting of Coach Tim Floyd will make USC into basketball powerhouse. No surprise to me. Playing the Sports Arena was a bone breaker for recruiting but now look at what USC basketball has going for it:

1. State of the Art facilities. Galen Center.
2. More Black students than UCLA.
3. Proximity to the Pros at Staples. OJ Mayo will be spotted at Clip and Fake games.
4. USC Football. Floyd is drafting off Pete Carroll and will use Trojan greatness and dominance on the gridiron to promote a new winning tradition on the "wooden" court.
5. Deep pockets. USC alumn have $$$$. People like Will Ferrell, Quincy Jones,
George Lucas, Dr. Jerry Buss, Frank McCourt (Dodger owner), Ron Howard etc.

Default Mayo College Hoops

Word Has It He's Leaning Towards Kansas State....why? Because Of Coach Huggins...bigtime Favorite Of Mayo Who Played Ball In The Cincy Area...but Nothing Written In Stone

OJ Mayo is good but he will never be as good as the king Lebron James cause sonner or later all will bowdown to king james

good research, lawlerslaw... nicely done :-)

having said that, numbers 2 to 5 have been true for awhile (top of my head, not research... room for error :-).... yet usc has offered little in the way of bball....

so basically, your powerhouse supposition is based upon mayo's desire to go to 'sc cuzza floyd and the new Galen Center?

interesting... i still don't think that mayo is heading to 'sc, but i still call ucla pac 10 champs this year and next, whether he goes or not...

if he does, enjoy your one-and-done... hope he helps your program...
