Sweens, your text is def. holding this back. it just doesnt really look good. i had the same problem before. Try using a more basic font, and doing like what NBA4EVER did: simple text, solid or a huge non-contrasting gradient,with an outline (optional), and a drop shadow. the drop shadow adds a lot of space to it, which makes it look a lot better
