You cannot let it go. It has to be represented as a stain on history that will never be washed away, just like slavery. It also helps to ensure similar acts will not be repeated in the future.

As a matter of fact i went to the biggest concentration camp in 2010 in Poland when i was exchange student. So please save your stupidity. You made it clear you know nothing about EE. Theres more racism in Italy than in Bulgaria.

Well the Riverwalk isn't too bad, but I agree with you that other parts of the city can be a little 'yikes'. And they do got those big ol women down there as Chuck said.

>holocaust happened a long time ago

Firstly, Jews are sensitive as fvck over a lot of bullshit reasons. But the holocaust is actually one of the few reasons they have to be angry.
It also wasnt a long time ago. Some people from the holocaust are still alive today.

Re: Why is anything Nazi related still considered offensive?
Because the history we're taught is almost exclusively Euro-centric and the holocaust is still relatively a recent event in that history.
Speaking of which, people completely ignore Nanking, another atrocity on the other side of the world that happened at the same, and many of the Japanese soldiers that committed these atrocities are not only free but are employed in high office positions. But it didn't happen in the West so it doesn't matter. Oh and you know how Germany squashes anything to do with Nazi-ism in Germany and seemingly keeps an eye on it? Japan doesn't even recognize that did anything or teach it in schools.

This is true. The Japanese killed something like 20 million Chinese but only like 8 people in the world know this.

There are worse examples of genocides, but they dont serve the agenda of the chosen ones and if you say anything belittling about the holocaust or jews you are considered anti-semite

Funny how history classes completely ignore the brutality and rape that the Bolsheviks did to Germany, as well as their criminal occupation for years later. (there are even still a few monuments to the soviets in eastern germany) Or how it wasn't just jews targeted in the Holocaust, but all sorts of political enemies.
You also won't hear much about how the "valiant" Allies also bombed countless cities targeting civilians. None of this is considered important compared to the holocaust- as if it was the most important event in human history. It's a shame. Both World Wars were destructive, yet all people are taught about is the holocaust.

You are definitely right about that. Its funny cause Jews are destroying the hell out of Palestine yet still call themselves victims.

Yeah, please nobody take my post to say I am trivializing the holocaust in any way, but had it happened on the other side of the world to another (Kurds anybody?) we wouldn't give two ****s about it.
