The following are movies I have recently seen. I think they are worth a watch:

Winter's Bone -An unflinching Ozark Mountain girl hacks through dangerous social terrain as she hunts down her drug-dealing father while trying to keep her family intact.

Dead Mans Shoes - A disaffected soldier (Considine) returns to his hometown to get even with the thugs who brutalized his mentally-challenged brother (Kebbell) years ago.

Bully - Based on a true story. Naive teenagers plot to murder one of their own, who has been too much of a bully to them.

There Will be Blood - A story about family, greed, religion, and oil, centered around a turn-of-the-century prospector in the early days of the business.

Of all these movies I'd recommend Dead Man's Shoes the most.

Well if there's no Hitchcock films... I'll just recommend my favorite films from my favorite early-generation actor: James "Jimmy" Stewart:

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

Vertigo

Rear Window

I'm sure I will get flamed for saying this.... but I've never actually seen There Will Be Blood. I have it on my computer/harddrive, but have never sat down and put in the time to watch and fully enjoy it.

Thanks for reminding me. Repped.

The Wikipedia entry is vague in terms of its premise. Care to share??

Did you list 2 Hitchock films (Vertigo for the second time) as a joke? lol

It isn't anything that's gonna sound riveting.

It's just a documentary that follows a company in Afghanistan.

But what makes it interesting is that you 'feel' as if you're part of the company. It isn't grizzly or violent footage, but you feel the danger that they face.

No that was not intentional.... although pretty harsh by me.

They're my favorite Jimmy Stewart films, I didn't even consider the fact that Netflix apparently isn't up on Hitchcock films.

My bad.

My bad.

They are good films tho.

Netflix is missing some notable old ones like Hitchcock's work, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, etc.

I love to watch foreign steamy movies.

I wish they had more streaming films, even the bad ones. I thought that the French film 'The Housekeeper' had some potential, but it was just decent.

I really dug 'Sex and Lucia'.... ummm... some yummy scenes and the movie as a whole really dragged you in.

A movie that I hated because it would've been a classic if it wasn't for the last act is a French film called 'Secret Things'.

I'm also a huge A-Team nerd, and I find myself watching some of the same episodes many times. Dwight Schultz is an underrated comedic genius.

What did you think of the recent remake?

It was fun and entertaining.

I can nitpick the movie by comparing it to the tv show, but I liked it overall. I understand that it's a prequel and they altered the film a tad bit.

I remember having some more detailed critiques on it after I saw it, but I don't remember them now... my memory sucks.

I did.

As soon as I saw Moon I shouted to myself... "Oh shit, that's April O'neil"
