Westbrook has had 3 knee surgeries since Jan, 1st of 2014
all on the same knee.
Now he looks like he's never been under the knife. He's 26yrs old (6th yr) and has 2yrs left on current contract. Would you make him your priority to sign to a max deal?

Or KD (same age 26yrs old) whose had a less severe injury but foot problem could be a sign of something in the future.

Who do you make the offer to and who do you put on the market for trade?
Or do they both take less in order to fill out the team and stay together?

You sign both. Dont even think about it.

Every team in the league would (or should) give both max deals without even pondering it. Not only are they easily worth the max, but contracts are going to shoot through the roof over the next few years. Today's max will be tomorrow's bargain.

Both are Max contract players... you don't think about it you just make the offer...
Hypothetical, let's say OKC is even contemplating trading either one because they don't want to spend the money and don't want to see them walk away and get nothing in return, as the GM of a team you throw everything at OKC to make a deal work

This. I'm just hoping that it hits him late enough that it'll either be after his career is over or close enough to the end that it won't be a big deal. Knee injuries may heal enough for him to get back to playing at 100% but he'll feel the effects later in life.

You hve two of the best players in the nba. You do everything you can to keep both of them. I say get rid of ibaka. He's not a good enough shot blocker to be a starter on a championship team.

The first was to repair a meniscus tear, the second and third were to fix complications in that same meniscus. It was repaired the first time but swelled up a few times afterwards.

ah a meniscus aint no thang, and lucky for him because he cant afford to lose any hopes with his rather limited 36.5 inch running vertical leap.

Magic Johnson's vertical was only 30 inches, what does that mean for him?
