Jim Croce - Time in a bottle

Most people will know this song. Its by Jim Croce, and its pretty famous. In the song he talks about the shortness of life and how he wishes he could keep time in a bottle, so he could spend the time for eternity with his loved one.

He died in 1973 at aged 30 in a crash.


Eminem - Like Toy Soldiers

In this song, Eminem was rapping about guys dying in the rap wars that were frequently happening. At the time he was referencing the beef between Em, D12, Obie Trice, 50 Cent and Dre vs Benzino and Ja Rule respectively. In the video, Proof was shot outside a building.



The video was used to symbolize how quickly arguments like this can get out of hand and someone get killed. Well ironically, in 2006 Proof was shot dead in at a club because of a altercation over a game of billiards. Eminem has frequently said hearing of his best friends death was one of the worst moments of his life.
