Default Linus Kleiza

What do you guys think of this guy?

He was impressive against Spain in the World Championships putting up numbers of 15pts, 14rebs, 5assists in 34 minutes.

Is this any reflection of what we should expect from Linus?

IMO, he's always been impressive on the boards and if he gets more minutes this year he could be a nice backup for Carmelo at SF as a competent shooter.

Having said that, i don't expect to see anything like 15 14 and 5 anytime soon in the NBA.

Your thoughts?

The jury is still out. He needs to get some minutes this year. We need to see what he can do with quality minutes against quality competition in the NBA.

But hope springs eternal.

He seems pretty good. If given playing time, i'm sure he'll become better.

I like his game and hopefully he will get more minutes. He's a smooth shooting power foward, and in a couple years, Denver will be glad they hanged on to him.

i dont think hes going to do anything this year, a game vs spain with 15/14 means nothing, unless he improves his shot and defense...........

Linus is one of those "high energy" guys. From what I've seen of him He's all heart & hustle, the kind of player coaches and team-mates love. If he possesses any kind of skills he will excell given the minutes.

What can I tell... First of all, his name is Linas, not Linus. Kleiza showed that he can be the leader of the team when he gets much minutes on the court. He was one of the best players in the preseason with almost 14 ppg. That means nothing comparing it with 3,5 ppg last season? I think Nuggets made great choise keeping Kleiza with Nuggets for one more year. If he will get more time this season, he should show that he has great potential.
