BOBCATS VS. PISTONS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7 p.m., Bobcats Arena

TV: News 14. Radio: WNMX-FM 106.1

BOBCATS UPDATE: A victory would give the Bobcats an unlikely 3-1 series victory against the Central Division-leading Pistons. That might be an indictment of the weak Eastern Conference as much as anything, though.

PISTONS UPDATE: Newly acquired (and Detroit native) Chris Webber averages 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in his first three games with the Pistons.

KEY MATCHUP: Matt Carroll vs. Richard Hamilton: Carroll had seven defensive rebounds against the Pistons in a Bobcats victory two weeks ago.

Pistons Bobcats
G C. Billups R. Felton
G R. Hamilton M. Carroll
F T. Prince D. Anderson
F R. Wallace G. Wallace
C/F C. Webber E. Okafor

DAVID SCOTT

This could get ugly real fast with us not having 4 big men.

we're going to have to make a lot of subs to keep them fresh.

This is exactly what happened last year. It just kinda snuck up on us this year.

Brevin Knight - Abdominal Strain
Gerald Wallace - Separated Shoulder
Raymond Feltom - Ankle
Sean May - Knee
Primoz Brezec - Herniated Disc
Othella Harrington - Knee
Melvin Ely - Sick
Jake Voskuhl - Sick

8 out of 15 guys have something wrong with them, and I could've missed some. Even though it's a bunch of minor stuff, it really piled on fast.

Yep, we started off healthy, then 1 or 2 guy got hurt. No big deal, but then BOOM more than half the roster has an injury of some kind.

This could actually help us. May is 50/50 on whether or not he will play tonight, and this will give Hollins extended minutes. Who needs Brezec Ely or any of those guys anyway unless someone gets in foul trouble? Okafor has played 40+ minutes in alot of games this season. Morrison played well against Prince in the last matchup, and Wallace played PF for about 25 games last season and actually matches up well at PF with his athleticism.

With a quick lineup I think we can run them into the ground.

Im predicting we win by 5, but if im wrong than im going to be wrong by a ton. aka we win by 5 or lose by 20.
