Default Wayward Pines show discussion (Recommended Watch)

Three episodes aired so far; I can't say it's good for sure, but so far so good. A few tend to overact but it doesn't hurt the show too much. Also a lot of similarities and influences-could be just tributes- to other shows, X-files vibe, Twin Peaks setting, even some 4400.
So it's a good blend of mystery, sci-fi, and psychological thriller to put it short.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and I like it. The only thing that worries me is it's by M. Night. I have hated his last 5 movies mostly because the trailers made them seem like something they weren't.

But I'll watch it till the end, because it's only supposed to be 10 episodes I think

I watched the first episode and it was good. I worry that they gave away a bit too much the first episode, but I will be watching the next episode. Intriguing premise thus far.

Going to watch the third episode now

    Lets be honest though

This is a low key hollywood take on the reality of our flat earth and the ice wall that surrounds us known as Antarctica

    Same with the matrix too.

Episode 3 was extremely good and sort of gives away what the show is really about. My only confusion is if there is no way out, then how do new people come in??

I'm guessing anybody who gets near is marked and then captured in the same manner then inserted into town.

Well they definitely make adjustments to your brain via that surgery they wanted to do on Burke, I reckon some go crazy after the operation? This is a town full of guinea pigs this much I know.

So Hulu releases this one episode at a time? That's a little weird.

And I don't remember the show, but I know one of the networks had a new show that they were airing once a week like normal, but they made the entire season viewable on their website all at once for binging.

That's Aquarius I think, the David Duchovny show about Charles Manson.

I've watched the first 3 episodes. I was worried it'd be like Lost where there's always more questions than answers, but they seem to be buzzing through it pretty quickly and there won't be too much unanswered stuff.

The ex-sheriff was holding the show back, his corny acting won't be missed. Also they better find another way than making background music/noise when they want to talk freely, it gets repetitive.
Pam is great at her role, she looks like a psychopath but she is not insane, more like she found her paradise.

I like it. It's nice to see Matt Dillon back.
