Default 20 years from now people are going to look at this San Antonio team and wonder...

How the hell were they so good?

    - Leading scorer: Parker - 16.7 PPG
    - No player averaged more than 30 MPG during the year
    - Duncan is 38
    - Ginobili is 36
    - Parker is 32 with alot of mileage

Despite all this they still managed to have the best record in the league with 62 wins, they also played in arguably the toughest conference the NBA has ever seen, 7 playoff teams from the West won 50+ games, the 8th won 49. They also played in the toughest division in the league where 4 teams went to the playoffs.

They somehow managed to defeat an OKC team that featured MVP Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook (most athletic guard ever), now they have a chance to take out the back to back champs Miami Heat led by this generations best player in LeBron James and future HOFer Dwyane Wade.

It is truly epic what we are witnessing. I can imagine the young people years from now going on basketballreference and have a face when they click on the 2014 Spurs.

Team basketball. If you saw how they were moving the basketball last night then you obviously know they were playing unselfishly and playing to win the ship not to stat pad.

They play basketball the traditional way which is to look for that extra pass for the open man. When they attack the basket and move the ball and ISO less, they're a great team.

People watching them play right now know this. Like I said in the OP, I can guarantee you in the future the people who never saw this team play will be dumbfounded to why they were so successful.

The team is so well built, everyone can move the ball even the big men, they have multiple post up threats, multiple shooting threats, multiple driving threats.

they have like 4 starters coming of the bench: Manu, Diaw, Marco, and Patty

almost 8 players averaged double figures in the RS, 9 if you count Tiago.

They're deeeeep, they play defense (rare nowadays?), have chemistry, and they share the ball.
