He was still given 21 month jail sentence. He doesn't have to serve it because of Spanish's first time offender and supposedly 2 years or less is considered a soft sentence so he doesn't have to serve.

The truth remains though...he was convicted and is now officially a criminal though. Sentence to 21 months to jail means he is guilty.

This will knock him out of any conversation of being GOAT. Maradona had his drug problems. Zidane had his headbutt.

What Messi did is inexcusable in a global climate where getting rich and evading taxes are severely frowned upon.
