I know ADHD blah blah. Bad childhood blah bla blah. That really doesn't make a difference to me, ultimately humans have to be held accountable for their actions regardless of the hand they are dealt.

That being said, do you think the cop might have handled the situation a little better, even if the kid took a swing at him? If it was my kid, I think it would be a valuable learning lesson of action and consequence, but I realize everyone might not feel that way.

i liked the statistic about kids with DD make up 12% of school population but like 85% of physical restraints. no sh1t, that makes sense, the crazy, irrational, uncontrollable kids have to be restrained more often. they use that statistic as if it proves some sort of unfair target on their back.
