Need someone better than Collison backing up Jordan. Jordan isnt ready to be a starter yet, hes gonna have nights where he picks up quick fouls and drops every pass like he has oil on his hands. Also I feel like paying Novak 3 mil is overpaying. Hes a good shooter but they all come and go.

I wouldn't make that trade with Kaman. Kaman is still a legit center in a league that has dwindling bigmen. Not sure why you want to unload him so badly. Collison is an undersized center, and not sure if DJ is ready for becoming the incumbent starter. I think the Clippers could do better in a trade. I would honestly just keep Kaman if that was the only deal on board. I am all for developing the young players, but on a team with not many vets and so many young players with potential, I am not in favor of moving guys who have proven they can contribute.

Yeah that Kaman deal might be less than what he is worth, but think it's a deal that would be considered if offered due to cap space being cleared up (an additional $1.5 mil or so) while not a huge change in roster since Sefolosha will be the perfect backup SG to Gordon due to his defensive play and Collison can be swapped with Krstic (which would clear up another near million in cap space), who probably would be a better fit due to the fact Krstic actually plays offense. Nenad, afterall, did average 16/7 not too long ago and he could get back up there.

$3 mil for Novak might be too much, but it's just a one year deal so it doesn't matter much. Overall, I think this plan can be scrapped because I don't see Wes Johnson being available at our pick if we stay at #8.

Krstic was a 16/7 player before his serious knee injury. I don't ever see him averaging those stats again. He wouldn't get many touches on the CLipps either. Honestly would prefer the defensive minded Colison over Krstic, but still not at all in favor of that trade. They trade an all-star center for 2 backups and save a little dough.
