Same thing was said about Lebron+Wade when Lebron went to Miami. "Fit" matters very little if you have the best player in the entire league.

Durant is the second best player though It's also my opinion that Wade could put up better stats and performances if he had KD instead of Lebron because KD can distract the defense just as much but he doesnt require the ball in his hands. Wade is also far smarter than RW and would hit KD all day.

Wetbrook,Wade,Durant and supporting cast

This isn't BOS Big 3 where LeBron dominates but loses,he would get annihilated


But to answer this q,easily Wade and KD
fit and play style play a huge part
Wade and KD are both great off-ball players and they both are very efficient,can get to the line and rim and create severe mismatches at their positions

LeBron may be LeBron but WB isn't exactly efficient or has good bb iq now.
And LeBron isn't a great off-ball player and Westbrook isn't as proficient at the rim or mid-range as Wade is,so theyd be taking turns while Wade,KD would be a team fit.

If it was say CP3,Curry with LeBron but WB does a lot of extremely ill advised things and takes a lot of stupid shots and is not very efficient and compared to Wade is an inferior playmaker and turns the ball over quite a bit making stupid decisions

Wade knows his roles whether its alpha,num 1 scoring option,num2 man,defense,playmaking whatever s required WB thinks he's the MAN.

In this hypothetical matchup,Wade and KD would trap LeBron and force Westbrook to beat them and with WB shot selection,bb iq,and how recklessly he plays and his fg efficiency and how good he can shoot Wade and KD would win.

You take LeBron out the game and WB is all alone on an island doing what WB does,on the other hand Wade and KD are a perfect fit and their styles blend together rather than clash like WB,LeBron

WB has less efficency than Wade,less playmaker,isnt as great off the ball and is a less shooter than Wade.

LeBron,WB would be in foul trouble and KD,Wade would be shooting free throws early in each quarter.

This isnt 2 on 2 or one on one where each person plays simple man to man.

In a team situation 5-5 LeBron gets trapped and the ball is forced out of his hands and you're relying on WB to win,

BB IQ,playmaking,knowing roles,being perfect fits makes a difference

and WB,LeBron clash way way more than Wade,LeBron.

WB is way less effiicient,doesn't defer or play roles just plays his game and isnt as smart in shot selection,playmaking as Wade and doesn't have the iq,knowing your role and knowing whats best to win,

Wade has a post game,is a good off-ball player and can adapt to the role necessary to win regardless of what that role entails WB tries to be the MAN.

How are LeBron and Westbrook a bad fit? Westbrook is a better 3pt shooter than Wade is. Surround those 2 with shooters and that would be a great team and GOAT level transition duo.

I'd still take LeBron if it were KD, Westbrook and Wade. He's going to be the GOAT imo and is just unstoppable. I don't like the guy but I'm taking him over any other option every single time.
