Get him a body bag!
Re: Anyone own a van? Van Life?
Is this becoming a thing again?
My dumbass coworker bought one instead of buying a new car. My hopes is that it breaks down or catches fire on her stupid ass.

I don't know if its a thing or not but I met an old friend a couple of weeks ago and he has one of these vans with a big ass Wu Tang sticker on the side.
We were at a bar drinking and he was bragging about his van to other patrons.
So I went outside for a cigarette and he joined me and offered me some green tobacco. We went to his van and the dude has a refrigerator, lounge chairs and a bean bag. Drank some of his beers...took a shot from the mini bar and went back inside like nothing happened.
With that said, I want to get one just so I don't have to drive home from the bars and I can sleep in there and go home the next morning. Also, it would be great for traveling too.
Felt like freedom.
So I did research on these vans and they were at their peak during the 70's and they were specifically geared towards the 20 year olds who wanted to bang chicks in them. The car was marketed towards families as a vehicle for drive-in movies.
I want to use it as a bar on wheels and pack it up with some friends.

All For *One* For All
Re: Anyone own a van? Van Life?
I literally had a 65 year old co-worker who was a former hippie and still current pot head drive one of these. He'd go out into it every day for lunch and tonk up. At work we called it the rapist van.

what are you, some kind of van snob?

No...but that summer was hell. That thing is loud, no insulation and crap would be banging back there.

It's going to be a lounge/office on wheels. Just a party van. Good for football games too.
Think this....

Very good NBA starter
Re: Anyone own a van? Van Life?
a buddy of mine has like a 98 conversion van. Nothing crazy, no shag carpeting or mini bar, but it was awesome. We took it on a roadtrip and it's like going from coach to riding first class. So much more comfortable than a car.
